An engaging reference and visit tracking tool with pictures, info, maps, and links to information on holy places of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Create your personal history of our sacred Temples, Historical Sites, and Visitors' Centers by tracking visits with notes, photos, and the ordinances performed.

Designed for iPhone, iPad, and the foldable iPhone Duo, with the list beside the details on larger screens. On iOS 27, you can even record a visit just by asking Siri.

Explore
• Full-screen interactive map with a Timeline mode — watch temples spread across the world from the Restoration Era to today, starting with Kirtland Temple (1836) and the original Nauvoo Temple (1846). Step through dedication years, see the era and temple count as you go, or tap Play for an animated journey through history
• Tap a map pin to see the place photo, then open the place or get directions without losing your spot
• Continent outlines keep the map usable with little or no service
• Filter the map and list by category, visited, or not-visited
• Sort by Alphabetical, Nearest, Country, Dedication Date, Announced Date, or Size (temples)
• Place Details with quick links to map the location, navigate, call, or view the website
• Historical names and photos — places that have been renamed show the name and image from the time of your visit
• Regular updates including the latest progress on temples under construction

Track
• Record visits with notes, photos, and ordinances performed
• Edit a visit later, including changing the place
• Optional profiles to track visits separately for family members — record one visit for several people at once, or copy visits to another profile
• Filter visits by place type, ordinance type, or favorites
• Set annual goals for temple visits and each ordinance, and track your progress
• Optional reminder notifications to record a visit after leaving a holy place
• Back up your visits and photos to a file you can import on another device

Ask Siri (iOS 27)
• Record a visit by voice — at an active temple Siri asks which ordinances you did, and for any place it offers to add notes
• Get directions to the nearest holy place
• Hear your goal progress and how many temples you've visited
• Open a place or visit, or search places and visit notes

Celebrate
• Summary page showing total places visited and ordinances performed by year and overall
• Motivational achievement system tracking significant milestones and where you reached them
• Share completed achievements as an image
• Optionally post eligible milestones to the public Celebration Board with your name and location
• Temple-themed inspirational quotes

Share
• Send an App Store or Google Play link to friends and family
• Display or share a QR code for either store
• View, print, and share a full promotional PDF

Personalize
• Choose the Home background: the default photo, a random photo from your visits, or one of your own, cropped to fill or shown in full
• Color themes, including Mono for easier reading, and optional place-type symbols on the lists

More
• Companion Apple Watch app with a celestial-themed timer and gentle wrist taps — ideal for staying attentive during a temple session
• Widgets for a featured visit, achievement and goal progress, and a daily quote
• Home Screen Quick Actions: Nearest Places, Random Place, and Record Visit or Navigate To for the closest place

The Holy Places logo, created by my daughter, features The Morning Star from the stained glass windows of the Nauvoo Temple — representing both the Historical and Temple aspects of the app.
