We're excited to announce a new update for Candies 'n Curses, which has just dropped! We know it's been a while since our last bug fix, and we genuinely appreciate your patience. To make it worth the wait, we've included several bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, a brand new Charm, and some fresh Candies and Curses for you to enjoy. We hope these additions make your spooky adventures even more fun!

New Additions

Bookworm Key (Charm): Start the run in the Undead Library and get 2 random Curses. (Leaderboard mode clear times disabled)
Volt Jolt Jelly (Candy): Small chance to Zap another ghost after destroying one.
Ghoulie Gumpop (Candy): Soul Heart drop chance increased x5.
Phantom Feast Curse (Curse): Gain 4 Soul Heart Points when collecting Hearts at full health. Heart meter fill speed x0.25.

Improvements

Upgraded the Google Purchasing API - this should resolve a lot of purchasing issues.
Necro Scythe changes:
Bubblegum Bones now spawn puddles at level 3.
Bubblegum Bones now spawn bone projectiles at level 4.
Enemy hitboxes have been improved.
Assist Mode: Lowers ghost room counts, halves damage taken, and lowers boss health (can be turned off in settings). Leaderboard times will not be posted while assist is on.
Removed the "Lose all Health" Maltose effect.
Fire Spirit Health lowered to 4hp
Ghost King's health lowered to 4hp
The countdown timer from pausing no longer displays in Treasure Rooms or when the room boss has been defeated.
Increased the time it takes for pickups to despawn.
Based on your current combo, Firefly, Torchfly, and Virusfly lantern orbs will now increase in speed.
Necro Wisps only spawns poison floor tiles during the Necro Scholar CC boss.
Ghost Gifts spawn ectoplasm upon being damaged.

Bug Fixes

Save logic has been upgraded to fix various save bugs.
Fixed a bug that caused Flashlights to sometimes not deal damage.
Fixed a bug that caused Molli to jump very high off-screen.
