With KunstCollection, you always have your artworks with you — organized, accessible, and easy to manage. All your works in one app – your own personal, clear, and mobile archive!

EXCEL FILE INSTEAD OF DATABASE
An Excel spreadsheet is used as the “database”, which you can conveniently edit on your Mac. Images and the Excel file can be easily exchanged between devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) — just like files on a memory stick. If you already have data and images on your Mac, you can transfer them directly into the Excel file. Your data always remains fully under your control. No data, files, or images are sent to any servers or stored online.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
Your artworks also remain digitally in your personal care. Everything you enter in the app — data, captured images, generated PDF files — all stays on your own device: fully “PC”, fully “Personal Collection”.
Nevertheless, you can easily and quickly transfer KunstCollection to other devices — for example, from an iPhone to an iPad or MacBook: just copy files as you would on a memory stick.
And of course, your artworks are never used or analyzed in any way: we don’t evaluate data, scan your images, read your reports, or train AI systems. We don’t even have access to your data :-) So you can use our KunstCollection with complete peace of mind.

FEATURES YOU’LL LOVE
– Repeated field entries (names, media, etc.) don’t need to be retyped — just select them quickly and easily from suggestion lists.
– For fields like “Location”, you can even define your own custom lists. This not only saves time but also ensures consistent values that can be easily filtered and sorted.
– Images can be added from the camera, the photo library, or the clipboard (and thus also from your Mac) — or simply copy existing images directly to your device.
– Similar or related artworks can be linked to one another within the app.
– Multi-line fields for techniques and notes provide ample space for text.
– A full-text search helps you find anything, anywhere, and you can even define which fields are included in searches.
– Sorting, fields, their order, and labels can all be customized to your preference — making KunstCollection your very own personal archive.
– Fields or sortings you don’t need can be hidden.
– Create a portfolio or labels in PDF format for selected artworks — ready to send, share, or print.
– You can also choose which fields appear in your printed portfolio.

ACCESSING THE FILES
– Access your device (iPhone, iPad) via Finder.
– Connect the device to your Mac.
– In Finder, select your device under “Locations”.
– Under “Files”, the KunstCollection app appears.
– Files can be copied directly between the device and Mac in both directions.

VIEWS
– List view with collapsible sections
– Waterfall view (variable cell heights)
– Choose and vary the number of columns yourself.
– Detail view (fields and order as you prefer).
– Input form (hide unused fields once).
– Slideshow (optional autoplay in various speeds).
– With the “Test hanging” option in the artwork menu, you can preview a work on a wall.

IN-APP PURCHASE
The free version is limited to 20 artworks. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks the management of an unlimited number of artworks.
