"Dot the Earth" is the premier interactive LDS temple map, visit tracker, and companion app—designed specifically for members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to explore, plan trips, track ordinances, and stay connected to the House of the Lord worldwide.

Deepen your connection to these sacred structures, track your personal journey along the covenant path, and keep a beautiful, private record of your temple worship. Whether you want to locate temples on our interactive 3D globe and map, record spiritual impressions in your journal, plan a multi-temple road trip, or play daily educational temple games with your family, Dot the Earth is your all-in-one companion.

Why Latter-day Saints Love Dot the Earth:

• Interactive LDS Temple Map & Global Directory: Easily explore every temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—dedicated, under construction, under renovation, or announced. Filter by status, country, or state, calculate exact driving and air distances from your location, and get one-tap directions.
• Personal Temple Visit Journal & Ordinance Tracker: Keep a secure, private history of your temple service. Log your visit dates, attach personal photos or voice memos, record sacred spiritual impressions, and track ordinances performed (Baptisms, Initiatories, Endowments, and Sealings—including Family File vs. Temple File breakdowns).
• Multi-Stop Temple Trip Planner: Planning a family vacation, youth conference trip, or temple tour? Build custom temple itineraries, organize stops chronologically, and track the temples along your route.
• Personal Goals, Streaks & Interactive Analytics: Set annual and monthly temple attendance goals, visualize your worship history with interactive charts, see how many countries and states you have visited, and share milestone summary cards.
• Educational Temple Games & Daily Challenge: Perfect for Family Home Evening (FHE), youth activities, and Primary children! Play the Daily Pin-the-Temple Map Challenge to build your global streak, test your knowledge with LDS Temple Trivia Quizzes, flip cards in Temple Picture Matching, and solve Temple Slide Puzzles.
• Animated Historical Growth Timeline (1830 to Present): Play, pause, or scrub through history to watch how holy temples have come to "dot the earth" sequentially from Kirtland and Nauvoo to hundreds of temples across every continent today.
• Immersive AR Camera Temple Locator: Point your phone toward the horizon in Augmented Reality (AR) to visualize the exact real-time direction, orientation, and distance of nearby temples relative to where you stand.
• Essential Temple Information & Prayer Roll: Access addresses, phone numbers, milestone dates (announcement, groundbreaking, open house, dedication), architectural attributes, and direct links to official Church schedule and prayer roll resources.
• Friends, Community Gallery & Temple News: Connect with friends and family, celebrate friend visit streaks, browse thousands of curated community temple photos, and stay informed with the latest temple news and gospel study articles.
• Global Reach in 14 Languages: Fully localized in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Filipino/Tagalog, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian, Swedish, Polish, and Hungarian.
