Al-Jalees Al-Saleh is a comprehensive Islamic app that brings together the Holy Quran, Tafsir, Hadith, and Seerah in one modern and unified experience. It is an expanded and enhanced continuation of the Hadith Encyclopedia and the Seerah Encyclopedia, among the earliest Islamic apps launched on the Apple App Store since 2009.

One companion for the Muslim's day: prayer times, the Mushaf with its tafsir, the books of Hadith and Seerah, the adhkar and the tasbih. No ads, no subscriptions, no tracking — and most of it works with no connection at all.

Please note: the interface and the entire library are in Arabic.

◆ PRAYER TIMES & QIBLA
• Times for your location with seven calculation methods — Umm al-Qura, Qatar Calendar House, Muslim World League, Karachi, Egyptian Authority, ISNA and the European Council — and both Asr opinions
• The method follows the country you are in, and the choice stays yours
• Per-prayer minute adjustments and iqama times
• Alerts before the adhan, ten minutes before the iqama, and at it
• A qibla compass, and an augmented-reality prayer mat that turns you towards it
• A Home Screen widget, and an Apple Watch app

◆ THE MUSHAF
• The whole Quran as printed pages, with every verse tappable
• Eleven tafsirs: Ibn Kathir, al-Tabari, al-Qurtubi, al-Baghawi, al-Sa'di, al-Waseet, al-Mukhtasar, al-Muyassar, al-Suddi, Tanweer al-Miqbas, and al-Siraj on the Quran's rare words
• An English translation of the meanings, and word-by-word grammatical analysis (i'rab)
• Twenty-seven reciters, with surahs you can download and listen to offline
• Repeat a range of verses, for memorising
• A khatma: choose how long it should take, and it advances as you read
• Bookmarks and coloured highlights

◆ HADITH
• Twelve collections: Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abi Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasa'i, Ibn Majah, Musnad Ahmad, Muwatta Malik, Sunan al-Darimi, al-Daraqutni, al-Mustadrak, and Riyad al-Salihin
• Close to eighty thousand hadiths in their books and chapters, with bookmarks

◆ SEERAH
• Twenty books: Zad al-Ma'ad, Ibn Hisham, Ibn Kathir, 'Uyun al-Athar, al-Raheeq al-Makhtum, al-Shama'il al-Muhammadiyya, and al-Waqidi's Maghazi
• A reader whose pages turn like a book's, in a typeface and size you choose

◆ ADHKAR & TASBIH
• Morning, evening, after-prayer, sleeping and waking adhkar, each with its count and its source
• Add your own, with their counts
• A tasbih with targets of 33, 99, 100 or none at all; it keeps your completed rounds, runs on Apple Watch, and stays in step with it

◆ ISLAMIC OCCASIONS
• Ramadan, Laylat al-Qadr, both Eids, the Day of Arafah, Ashura, al-Isra wal-Mi'raj and the Hijri new year
• A monthly Hijri calendar with the occasion days marked
• A widget for the next one

◆ IT FOLLOWS YOU
• iCloud sync for your bookmarks, your own adhkar, your settings and where you stopped reading
• Search across the Quran, the Hadith and the Seerah
• Light and dark, and a choice of Arabic typefaces

Note: occasion dates are computed with the Umm al-Qura calendar, and may differ by a day or two with the sighting of the moon in each country.
