With the DEMECAN Wallet App you can digitally store your DEMECAN patient ID on your smartphone to identify yourself as the rightful owner of DEMECAN products* - similar to the digital Corona vaccination certificate.

This service was created together with our strategic partner KURZ Digital Solutions, a specialized and leading manufacturer of physical and digital security features for counterfeit protection for banknotes and ID documents, for example. The DEMECAN patient ID card was developed to counteract the feeling of insecurity among patients and to provide them with the support they need from DEMECAN.
To do so, simply scan the code on your ID card using the DEMECAN Wallet app. The app will then display the code and your information. Tap on the code to enlarge it, making it more readable for other readers, such as smartphones.
In the future, similar to the digital Corona vaccination certificate, authorities will also have the possibility to carry out controls digitally via the code in your DEMECAN Wallet app.*

YOUR DATA IS SAFE
Data protection is maintained throughout the entire period of use.
No registration: no registration with an email address is required
Local data storage: your complete data is stored only on your smartphone
Cryptographic security: the code contains the information from your printed badge plus a digital signature that protects against data tampering. The code is used to ensure the authenticity and integrity of documents in a secure way using asymmetric cryptography.
DEMECAN does not store your data. Your data is only collected by the physician and kept secure by them. DEMECAN does not receive any patient data, only the information that a new ID card is being created. Of course, no patient data is passed on to third parties either. *NOTE: The DEMECAN patient ID card is not an official document and is issued by DEMECAN GmbH, a non-governmental entity. Please note that both the physical and the digital ID card on your smartphone are only valid in combination with a copy of your currently valid BtM prescription and your photo ID. Photo ID and a currently valid BtM prescription must be carried at all times. The DEMECAN patient ID card may not be transferred.
