St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School is a Co-Educational English Medium School, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It is managed by ADS Educational Trust. The school caters to the educational requirements of Nurpur Bedi and surrounding rural areas of Ropar District of Punjab. It began its operations in 2013, got provisional secondary affiliation in 2016 and gradually upgraded to Senior Secondary status. Already 3 batches of Class XII students passed out of the school. We have been running with 100% results in Board Exams. Our students are competing to bring laurels to the school through their academic excellence.
Ours is the only school in this area that offers our students all the four streams in Senior Secondary level. We offer Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce and Humanities streams to our students and students are free to select subjects of their choice.
The school has students from Playway to Class XII. The school has currently 1700 students and 70+ teaching staff and 20+ supporting staff. All our teachers are trained and well experienced in their field of academics. The school has a fleet of 25+ buses covering an area of almost 40 km from its location.
The school ensures the compliance of all mandatory requirements prescribed by the Board and State Education Department. We emphasize providing our students with a fluent English atmosphere, compulsory participation in co-curricular activities, training in Sports and games of their choice. We have facilities for outdoor sports like Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Rugby, Kho Kho, Badminton, Throw ball and athletics. We do have indoor games like Table Tennis, Foosball, Snooker, Carrom, Chess and Ludo. We have an activity room for Pre-Primary students. We provide extra coaching for dance, music and theatre. The school building and its corridors are under digital surveillance. The school offers financial support to students from very weak economic backgrounds. We nurture each of our students with basic human values and encourage them to be independent. Our classroom teaching is designed with the philosophy of academic independence. The school provides remedial coaching for weak students and enrichment classes for brighter students.
