ID Photo: Passport Photo Maker (Mei ID Photo) is an ID photo app for creating passport, visa, student ID and CV photos from a photo you take or choose from your library. It combines worldwide photo sizes, custom dimensions, AI background removal, adjustable retouching and high-resolution export. Prepare a new photo or update an existing one, with a digital file or a multi-copy sheet for printing.

Photos for documents, study and work
Create photos for passports, visas and driving licenses, as well as student IDs, school admission, graduation, degree documents, exam applications and CVs. Choose the photo format for your purpose, whether you are preparing travel documents, applying to a school or updating a job application.

Worldwide sizes and custom dimensions
Choose from built-in passport and ID photo sizes for countries worldwide, or set your own dimensions for a size beyond the presets. Overseas document formats can be searched in Chinese and include size labels to help Chinese-speaking users identify the format they need.

U.S. document photo formats
For U.S. applications, the size list includes U.S. Passport, Baby Passport, Visa, Green Card, Citizenship, USA Form I-130 and NY Gun License photo formats. Choose the format for your document and application channel.

A simple three-step workflow
1. Select a photo size or set custom dimensions.
2. Take a photo with the camera or choose an existing photo from your library.
3. Choose a background color, make any permitted adjustments and export your photo.

AI background removal and one-tap retouching
The built-in AI detects facial features. Remove the original background automatically with one tap, then choose another background color. One-tap retouching includes skin smoothing, eye brightening, nose refinement and teeth whitening, with adjustable intensity so you can choose the level of enhancement. Check whether your application permits background changes or retouching before using these options.

High-resolution capture, export and printing
High-resolution capture and output help preserve photo detail. Export your selected photo at high resolution without compression, or automatically arrange multiple copies in your chosen size on 6 × 4 inch photo paper. Prepare several copies and backups on one sheet for printing. Watch an ad to export a high-resolution photo for free, with no subscription or in-app purchases.

Photo processing stays on your device
Photo editing, background removal and retouching take place locally on your device. Your photos are not uploaded to our servers or third-party services for processing. For details about other data processing in the app, see the privacy policy.

Before submitting your photo
Built-in formats and custom dimensions help you prepare a photo; acceptance depends on the receiving authority's requirements. Check the current rules for dimensions, background, facial appearance, digital files and printing before submitting.
