LEARN KOREAN: ALPHABET & VOCABULARY

Most apps teach Korean like a textbook. HAN•GL teaches it the way it was designed: every consonant mirrors your mouth, every word builds on the last.

Go from zero to reading Korean, then keep going. Master all 40 letters of Hangul (also written Hangeul) through King Sejong's animated story, then build real vocabulary: greetings, food, family, travel, emotions, and much more.

VOLUME 1: THE BIRTH OF HANGUL. FREE.

All 15 chapters are completely free:

◆ All 19 Korean consonants
◆ All 21 vowels
◆ Batchim (final consonants) and sound-change rules
◆ Interactive syllable builder
◆ Every letter recorded in my own voice
◆ King Sejong's story
◆ Three milestone tests

By the end, you can read any Korean word.

VOLUME 2: AFTER SEJONG

The story didn't end when the alphabet was invented. 15 new chapters and 3 trials, told through the century Korea nearly lost its language:

◆ Both counting systems, telling time, dates, big numbers, and money
◆ Korean names, family words, loanwords, and the two Koreas
◆ Hanja: the roots hiding inside Korean words
◆ A real Hangul keyboard, taught key by key
◆ Included with Pro

FREE VOCABULARY TO GET YOU STARTED

Finish the alphabet and the Vocab road opens:

◆ 75+ Korean words free, from greetings and everyday phrases to food and animals
◆ Quizzes that change every time you play: matching, audio, fill-in-the-blank, sentence building
◆ Korean audio for every word and every example sentence
◆ Tap a word in an example sentence to see how it's built
◆ Collect every word as a card in your personal collection

◆ Every arcade game
◆ All boss battles

WHY HAN•GL IS DIFFERENT

◆ STORY-BASED LEARNING
Follow King Sejong's invention of Hangul. Learn through narrative, not flashcards.

◆ VISUAL TEACHING METHOD
Each consonant mirrors the shape of your mouth. See it once, remember forever.

◆ KOREAN AUDIO ON EVERYTHING
The alphabet course is my own voice. Every vocabulary word and sentence has high-quality Korean audio, so nothing is ever silent.

◆ WORKS OFFLINE
Every lesson, quiz, and audio clip installs with the app. After the first launch, learn on the subway, on a plane, anywhere.

◆ MADE BY ONE PERSON
I'm a native Korean, English, and Spanish speaker, and I made all of this myself: the curriculum, every screen, the voice on every letter, and the code underneath.

PERFECT FOR

◆ K-pop and K-drama fans who want to read lyrics and understand more
◆ Korean diaspora reconnecting with their heritage
◆ Complete beginners with zero Korean knowledge
◆ Travelers preparing for a trip to Korea
◆ Anyone learning for love, work, or curiosity

THE HANGUL TEACHING METHOD

King Sejong designed each consonant as a visual guide to pronunciation. The letter for "g" shows a tongue blocking your throat. The letter for "n" shows a tongue touching the roof of your mouth. The letter for "m" shows a closed mouth. The vowels are built from three symbols: heaven, earth, and man.

FEATURES

◆ 30 story chapters across two volumes
◆ A built-in Hangul keyboard and typing practice
◆ Arcade games, most of them built from the words you collect
◆ Word of the Day widget: a Korean word you can read, every morning
◆ Home screen widgets for your streak and your next step
◆ XP, levels, and daily streaks
◆ Instant feedback on every answer
◆ Optional romanization
◆ No ads, ever
