LOC8 is a fast GPS, geolocation, and location app built to answer one simple question:
Where am I?

Open LOC8 to instantly see your current location, GPS location, street address, nearest
cross street, county, GPS coordinate, compass heading, elevation, live GPS accuracy,
and what3words location code. Whether you need my location, map location, live GPS
information, or exact coordinates, LOC8 gives you the details in seconds.

Use LOC8 to find location details, check your current location, find GPS coordinates, and
share location information for travel, hiking, roadside issues, deliveries, job sites, and
emergency situations.

Built with safety, family safety, and emergency use cases in mind, LOC8 can help when
you need a safety location, SOS location, or fast GPS location reference. Law
enforcement, fire and EMS, search and rescue teams, field workers, and outdoor
professionals can quickly access coordinates and location details.

MULTIPLE GPS COORDINATE FORMATS

View, copy, and share GPS coordinates in:
• Decimal Degrees (DD)
• Degrees Minutes Seconds (DMS)
• Degrees Decimal Minutes (DDM)
• Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM)
• MGRS / milGPS

Share location details including your address, GPS coordinate, compass heading,
elevation, or what3words location code. Whether you use GPS, geolocation, milGPS, or
another coordinate format, LOC8 helps you find GPS information fast.

SAVE LOCATIONS AND WAYPOINTS

Save important locations and waypoints, including trailheads, campsites, parking spots,
work sites, and meeting locations. Search a saved location or enter a location code, then
use live distance and compass direction to find location details and navigate back.

Need to return to a saved place? LOC8 can show the destination on a map and enter
tracking mode, giving you live GPS distance, compass direction, and navigation guidance
as you move.

GARMIN WATCH GPS LOCATION COMPANION

Use LOC8 on the Garmin Watch to check GPS location details from your wrist, including current
location, address, GPS coordinates, compass heading, and signal accuracy. Built for quick
live GPS and geolocation checks when a map is not practical.

DESIGNED FOR FAST LOCATION ACCESS

• Current location, street address, county, and nearest cross street
• GPS coordinates in DD, DMS, DDM, and MGRS / milGPS
• Compass heading, elevation, and live GPS accuracy
• what3words location code for location share and share location needs
• Saved locations, places, and waypoints
• Map location search and GPS location lookup
• Live distance and compass direction to a saved location
• Fast geolocation, my location, and current location lookup
• Find location details and find GPS information quickly
• Emergency, SOS location, family safety, and safety location support

LOC8 is not turn-by-turn navigation and does not replace Find My iPhone. It is a fast GPS,
geolocation, location, and coordinate reference tool for moments when you need to know
exactly where you are, check my location, find location details, view GPS coordinates,
navigate back to a saved waypoint, or share location information.

PRIVACY

LOC8 only uses location while the app is open. It does not create accounts, user profiles,
live location tracking, or location history. Saved locations remain on your device. When
LOC8 resolves a GPS coordinate into an address or cross street, that coordinate may be
used with Apple location services and LOC8's secured backend for that lookup.
