Byway turns "I want to ride" into "let's go." Tap once and get three scenic, low-traffic bike loops that start and end at your front door. No route planning, no scrolling Strava heatmaps, no guessing which roads are safe.

Tell Byway how far you want to ride and how quiet you want it to be. It hands back three distinct loops to choose from, each with distance, estimated time, and an elevation profile so you know what you're signing up for before you clip in.

WHY BYWAY

Most ride-planning apps assume you already know where you want to go. Byway is for the days you don't, when you have an hour, a bike, and no plan. It's built around one idea: the best ride is the one you actually take, and you're more likely to take it if the route is waiting for you.

FEATURES

• One-tap loop generation from your current location
• Pick your distance, anywhere from a quick spin to an all-day ride
• Comfort modes: Quiet (back roads and lanes), Mixed (balanced), or Any (fastest route)
• Three route options every time, so you're never locked into one suggestion
• Elevation profile and ride-time estimate for each loop
• Clean map view: your route, your location, nothing else
• Works anywhere there are roads (powered by OpenStreetMap)

HOW IT WORKS

Byway uses a custom cycling routing engine that re-weights roads based on what you're after. Quiet mode penalizes busy roads and rewards lanes, paths, and residential streets. Mixed mode balances speed and calm. Any mode just gets you the miles. Every loop is a true round trip: you finish where you started.

WHO IT'S FOR

• Cyclists who want to explore their area without staring at a map for 20 minutes
• Travelers who want to ride somewhere new without local knowledge
• Commuters and casual riders looking for a safer route home
• Anyone who's tired of riding the same three loops

PRIVACY

Byway doesn't need an account. Your location is used only to generate routes and is never sold or shared. No ads, no tracking pixels, no social graph.

Pick a distance. Pick a mood. Ride.
