It's the four days before payday and dinner is still a question. Cinco answers it. Every recipe carries a real number: about $5 a serving or less, most under $3, with every ingredient priced so you can see exactly where the money goes before you spend a cent.

WHAT MAKES CINCO DIFFERENT
Most apps treat cheap as a happy accident of meal planning. Cinco leads with the price. Open any recipe and you get an itemized cost breakdown that adds up each ingredient to a per-serving total. No vibes, no "budget-friendly" hand-waving, no promising healthy-and-cheap without showing the receipt. The number is right there before you decide, the same way the cooks you actually trust call out the price of every ingredient. That breakdown is the whole point, and we put it on every single card.

HOW IT WORKS
- Today's menu: a fresh set of recipes every day, each one priced per serving
- Cost breakdown on every recipe: ingredient by ingredient, down to the per-serving number
- Budget filters: sort straight to the cheapest meal, search by an ingredient you already have, or narrow by category
- One shopping list: recipes fill it for you, add your own items by hand, check things off, swipe to delete
- Running "in cart" total: watch the number climb while you plan, not at the register
- Where to shop: real grocery stores near you on the map, with directions when you're ready to go
- Weekly meal plan: a full week mapped out with the grocery total for the whole week (Plus)
- Save favorites and cook offline, no signal required once you're at the stove

WHO IT'S FOR
For anyone stretching it to payday. Students cooking in a dorm with two pots. Parents feeding the whole family for less. Hourly workers, roommates splitting a grocery run, and anyone resetting after a slow month or an expensive move. If you're tired of the same rice and beans on repeat but still need dinner to cost next to nothing, this was built for you. Cooking on a budget isn't failing at it. Knowing your number is the win.

WHAT YOU GET
A way to stop guessing. Pick a meal, see what it costs, build one list, find the nearest store, and cook. Check the running total along the way so the checkout never surprises you again. Use up what's already in the pantry instead of letting it turn into wasted money.

FREE VS PLUS
Free gives you a handful of recipes, the full cost breakdowns, your shopping list with the in-cart total, and where to shop near you. Cinco Plus opens the entire recipe library and the weekly meal plans with the week's grocery total, so you can plan seven nights at a glance.

Prices in Cinco are estimates to help you plan, not live store prices. What you actually pay depends on where and when you shop, and on what's on sale. Treat the numbers as a close guide, not a guarantee.
