YOUR BUDDY WHILE COLLECTING BROWSE
BrowseBuddy puts practical plant identification and feeding guidance in your pocket, whenever you need it.
The app is built for real-world use by zookeepers and other zoo professionals. BrowseBuddy brings plant identification, feeding guidance, and toxicity information together in one place, so you can make more informed decisions during daily zoo work.

IDENTIFY PLANTS
Take or upload a photo and BrowseBuddy helps identify it with one of the best botanical recognition engines available.
The app recognizes over 78,000 plant species from a photo and shows confidence scores and alternative matches to help you assess the identification before making feeding decisions.

CHECK SUITABILITY
BrowseBuddy provides feeding guidance for ungulates, primates, and rodents.
For each supported plant species, the app gives clear, practical information to help you assess whether the plant may be suitable to feed, should be offered with caution, or is best avoided.

UNDERSTAND RISKS
BrowseBuddy explains toxicity and feeding risks for over 1,200 plant species.
Information is written in clear language and focuses on what matters in daily practice. The goal is not only to say whether a plant is suitable, but also to explain what the potential risks are and why they matter.

BUILT FOR ZOO PROFESSIONALS
The plant database includes species commonly found in and around European zoos, with a strong focus on plants that may be considered as browse. The animal guidance is written with zoo species commonly kept in European collections in mind.
BrowseBuddy is designed as a decision-support tool. It does not replace professional judgement, institutional protocols, or veterinary advice. Plant identification should always be verified before feeding, and plants should always be offered as part of a balanced and varied diet appropriate for the animal species.

SUBSCRIPTION
BrowseBuddy requires an active subscription to access the app and its features. Choose between a monthly or annual subscription. New subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. After the trial, the selected subscription automatically renews unless cancelled.
