Nordlys tells you when you can actually see the aurora – not just how strong the solar storm is. The forecast weighs activity, darkness, clouds and the Moon for exactly where you stand, hour by hour, and alerts you when it's worth going outside. Real-time data from NOAA, GFZ Potsdam, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and NASA, combined into one honest answer.
