How cold do you dare? Badeliv is the app for winter swimming and ice bathing — and for the summer dip. Measured water temperatures from over 2,500 swim spots across Norway, Sweden and Denmark, always marked as measured, forecast or estimated. Never fake numbers.

WINTER SWIMMING & ICE BATHS
• Cold time: the app tells you how long to stay in at exactly this temperature — on the front page, and while you're in
• The first 30 seconds: a calm countdown through the cold shock, so you breathe out, not in
• A nudge when it's time to get out — and the afterdrop guide that brings you safely back to warm
• Ice-bath season: its own season from 1 October to 30 April, with ice baths, coldest, weeks running and cold minutes
• Breathing guide before you get in — calm breathing, never hyperventilation
• Blue minus degrees and an honest "Ice bath" verdict when it matters
• Ice-bath badges and records all season

WHO WILL YOU CHALLENGE?
• The winter duel: coldest verified dip wins
• Most dips, longest streak or coldest swim — create a challenge in seconds
• Share one code — no email, no passwords, no account needed
• Leaderboards with avatars, crowns and reactions to cheer with
• Only GPS-verified dips count — no cheating from the sofa
• Share the standings as a ready-made story card

SAFETY
• The SOS button with your position, one tap away while you swim
• Lifeguard mode: the phone counts out loud and raises the alarm if you call for help
• Heart rate from Apple Watch straight into the log

TODAY
• Fresh readings from the spots near you, with source and age of the number
• Conditions hour by hour: air, water, sun and wind
• Report your own reading where you stand
• Saunas near you

THE LOG
• Every dip counts — calendar, streaks, records and badges
• Winter has its own season, summer its own

PRO
• The week's forecast: best swim day and sea temperature hour by hour
• Themes and app icons — make it your own
