Type 12' 6 1/2" + 3' 9 3/4" and get 16' 4 1/4". No decimals to convert. No math in your head.

Cubit is a feet-inch-fraction calculator built for people who work in fractions all day — framers, carpenters, concrete finishers, tilers, remodelers.

THE CALCULATOR IS FREE. ALWAYS.
The full keypad, every dimensional format, unit conversion, trig, the roof keys and your tape — free forever. No ads. No account. No card. You should not pay rent to add two dimensions together.

EVERY FORMAT YOU ACTUALLY USE
Feet-inch-fraction, inch-fraction, yards, decimal feet in 10ths and 100ths, decimal inches, and full metric. Fractions down to 1/64. Tap the result to cycle through them.

EXACT FRACTIONS, NOT ROUNDED DECIMALS
Sixteen sixteenths add up to exactly one inch in Cubit. The math runs on exact fractions from the first key to the last, so nothing drifts through a long calculation. When a display is rounded, you see a ≈ in front of it — an answer without one is exact.

52 TOOLS ON THE BELT
Common, hip, valley and jack rafters. Stair stringers with riser limits, headroom and stairwell opening. Rake walls. Compound miters. Concrete slabs, footings, columns, walls, steps and post holes. Block, mortar, rebar and mesh. Tile layout with the cut sizes at every edge. Drywall, paint, flooring, insulation. Cut-list optimizers for sticks and sheets. Board feet. Pipe offsets, conduit bends, box fill, fillet welds, duct sizing. Surveying traverse.

ANSWERS YOU CAN ACTUALLY BUY
Not "1.63 cubic yards" — "74 bags of 80 lb, $491". Bags, boards, sheets, blocks and tons, with your own material prices. That is the number you take to the supplier.

THE TAPE IS FREE TOO
Every calculation lands on a reviewable tape with the tool that produced it. Tap any line to put it back on the display. Show your work to the inspector.

DRAWN, NOT DESCRIBED
Every tool draws its own geometry live as you type. Change the pitch and the rafter redraws.

BUILT FOR THE JOB SITE
Dark, high contrast, oversized keys for a gloved thumb, haptics on every press. Everything runs on your device — no account, no sign-up, no network needed.
