Wish it. Wrap it. Keep it a surprise.

GiftWhimsy is a private gift list for you and the people closest to you. Save the things you'd love all year long. Your family and friends browse your list for ideas without asking, quietly wrap a gift so nobody doubles up, and you never find out who wrapped what.

SPOT IT
See something you'd love? Add it in seconds: snap a photo, pick one from your library, paste a link, share it from another app, ask Siri, or just type an idea. Each wish becomes a sticker-style card with its picture, price and your notes.

WRAP IT
On someone else's list, tap Wrap it to claim a gift. Everyone else in the circle sees it's taken, so no more three of the same sweater. The owner never sees it. That's the Surprise Shield: wraps are encrypted so only gifters can read them, and they never show up for the owner anywhere, not in the app, widgets, notifications, Siri or Spotlight.

CIRCLES
Make private circles for family, friends, coworkers or a Secret Santa. Invite people with a link or a QR code. There are no public profiles and nothing to discover. Only the people you invite can see your list.

CHIP IN
Going in together on something bigger? Start a chip-in and see pledges add up toward the goal. GiftWhimsy keeps track; you settle up however you like.

SECRET SANTA
Run the draw right in a circle. Everyone gets one name, and nobody else, the organizer included, can see who drew whom.

GIFT GENIE
Stuck on what to get? Gift Genie suggests ideas from the things a person has wished for, using Apple Intelligence on your device. Your lists never leave your device to do it.

IPHONE DUO
On iPhone Duo, everything works with the phone closed. Unfold it and the list and the gift sit side by side.

MY WRAPS
Everything you've wrapped, in one shopping list, with occasions and reminders so nothing sneaks up on you.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your lists live in your own iCloud. There are no ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking and no GiftWhimsy servers holding your data.

Also: Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Live Activities, Controls, a share extension, and Siri shortcuts.

Requires an iCloud account. Gift Genie requires a device that supports Apple Intelligence.
