Amalino gives words to children who don't speak, or don't speak yet. Your child taps pictures, and the device says the words out loud, in your family's own language.

Always free for children and families. No ads, no account, no tracking.

Words stay in their place
The words a child needs most are always in the same place, so their hand learns the way, just as yours does on a keyboard. Start with a few big buttons and show more words as your child grows. Nothing moves.

Your family's languages
• English, Danish, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, Spanish and Lithuanian, with one tap to switch. Each word keeps its place in every language.
• Ten natural voices speak all seven languages. They come in one download of about 129 MB and then work offline. Until then, the device's own voice speaks.
• Record words in your own voice, so the board sounds like home.
• Apart from English, the languages are still a preview: native speakers are checking the words, so some may change. You can correct any word yourself.

Made for everyday talk
• About 400, 1,300 or 2,500 words with pictures, in three levels that grow with your child.
• A phrase row that is always there, for "stop", "help me" and your family's own phrases.
• Favourites: up to five things your child loves, with your own photos.
• Scenes: your own photos with spots that talk.
• A keyboard with word suggestions, for children who spell.
• Word forms: a tense, a plural or the right ending in one touch.

Help for the grown-ups
Children learn to talk with pictures the way they learn to talk with words: by watching us. Amalino shows you where each word is and gives short, friendly tips, so you can talk with the pictures too.

Safe from accidental changes
The grown-up settings are behind a lock. Hold it for 3 seconds and answer a short sum, or use a PIN.

Private and offline
• Amalino works without the internet once it's set up.
• Boards, words, photos and recordings stay on your device, encrypted. They are never sent to me.
• Anything that needs the internet, like the voice download or searching for more pictures, asks first.
• Save a password-protected backup, print paper boards for the bath or a trip, and share boards with other apps that use the Open Board Format.

Amalino helps a child communicate. It doesn't diagnose, monitor or treat any condition.
