SumTake is a recorder for long meetings, interviews and lectures. It records without gaps and, when you're done, gives you a transcript split by speaker and a summary of what was decided, what's still to do and the numbers that came up. Each point in the summary has its quote; tap it and the audio jumps to that moment.

NO ACCOUNTS, NO KEYS
There's nothing to sign up for. Record, stop, and SumTake transcribes and summarizes on SumTake Cloud, our server, with an AI provider that specializes in speech. Your first 3 recordings (up to 60 minutes each) are free. After that, pick a plan.

100 LANGUAGES
SumTake transcribes 100 languages and works out which one is being spoken. The summary can be in the language of the conversation or in one you choose: a meeting in Spanish, the summary in English. Quotes stay in the original language, so tapping one still takes the audio to the exact moment.

RECORDING
Works with wireless USB-C microphones (one channel per person), wired mics or the iPhone's own mic. If a mic drops out or a call comes in, the recording carries on and marks the gap. It also records with the screen locked, shows up in the Dynamic Island and can be controlled from your Apple Watch: start, mark, pause and stop.

If you care about sound: dBFS meter with peak hold and clip warning, 24-bit WAV or AAC, 48 or 44.1 kHz, low-cut filter, limiter and pre-record. Take photos without stopping and use the slate to sync with video.

MARKERS AND SECTIONS
Mark key moments while you record (from the iPhone, the Dynamic Island or your watch) and name them: "Budget", "Next steps". Each marker starts a section, and you can get the summary section by section.

BEFORE AND AFTER
Before you start, you can add a little context ("job interview, focus on experience and salary") and say how many people will speak, which makes the summary sharper. Afterwards you can name each voice, ask questions about the recording with Apple Intelligence without it leaving your iPhone, export to PDF, Markdown, text, M4A or WAV with the start time, or email the summary in one tap.

CLIPS AND IMPORT
Select a few words in the transcript and SumTake cuts that piece of audio to share with its quote. Got a recording from somewhere else? Share it from Voice Memos, WhatsApp, Files or Mail and choose SumTake.

PLANS
SumTake Pro: 15 hours of audio a month, with transcripts and summaries. SumTake Max: 35 hours a month. Monthly or yearly. Every hour of audio you process uses one hour of your plan, in any language. Plans also unlock Ask with SumTake Cloud, custom vocabulary, 24-bit recording and WAV, the low-cut filter, the limiter and pre-record. Recording itself is never limited.

Payment is charged to your App Store account and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.

YOUR RECORDINGS, SAFE
Recordings stay on your iPhone and, if you turn on the backup, in your own iCloud Drive, with the audio, transcript and summary as PDF. Audio only leaves your iPhone when you process it: it asks for your permission the first time, passes through our server on its way to the transcription provider and is deleted when done.
