Gym Log+ is the fast, private workout tracker — logging lifting sets in seconds since 2013, now rebuilt from the ground up for modern iPhone and Apple Watch.

I built Gym Log+ in 2013 because I wanted a faster way to log my workouts. I rebuilt it in 2026 for the same reason.

ALREADY A GYM LOG+ USER?
Welcome back. Your data comes with you: on first launch, the app imports every workout, routine, custom exercise, body log, and progress photo you ever recorded. Nothing is deleted from the old data. And if you bought the app or its Pro upgrade — even years ago — your purchase is honored: you get Pro, for life, at no charge.

SWITCHING FROM ANOTHER APP?
Bring your history along. Gym Log+ imports other workout apps' CSV exports in about a minute, so your whole training record lives in one place.

LOG FAST
The whole app is built around one idea: nothing should slow down a set.
• Your previous workout's sets sit beside today's — see what to beat, tap Log, done
• Autofill suggests your next set; rest timers can start themselves
• Per-exercise rest timers, with a separate timer for your last set
• Supersets, warm-up sets, failure sets, drop sets, and optional RPE
• Cardio too: time, distance, and pace
• Warm-up calculator: a plate-rounded ramp up to today's working weight
• Plate calculator: exactly what to load on each side of the bar

APPLE WATCH — TRULY STANDALONE
Leave your phone in the locker. The watch app logs complete workouts on its own — routines, sets, rest timers — and records heart rate and Activity ring credit. Everything syncs up afterward.

ROUTINES, FOLDERS, PROGRAMS
• Build routines with target sets, reps, and rep ranges
• Organize routines into folders — or convert a folder into a program
• Programs know what's next: finish today's workout and the next day is queued up
• Plan catalog: 15 ready-made plans from beginner to advanced, free
• Share any routine or program as a file a friend can open in Gym Log+

CHARTS THAT ANSWER QUESTIONS
• A progress chart on every exercise: top set, estimated 1RM, volume, and reps — drag to scrub any day
• Stats dashboard: weekly training frequency, muscle-group volume this week vs last, and all your personal records — the last 3 months free, all-time with Pro
• Body-weight trend chart

BODY TRACKING
Log body weight free, with a trend chart, a goal line, and optional two-way Apple Health sync. Pro adds body measurements and progress photos with notes. Finished workouts can be saved to Apple Health too.

MULTIPLE PROFILES (PRO)
Share one device with a partner or family, or log clients' workouts in person as a trainer — each profile keeps its own routines, history, and body logs.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. Not "sign up later" — there is no account, no server, and no ads. Your data lives on your devices and syncs through your own private iCloud. And it stays yours: export a full backup file or a plain CSV spreadsheet any time, free.

FREE AND PRO
Free, forever: full workout logging, a catalog of 500+ exercises — strength, cardio, stretching, and yoga — plus your own custom exercises, the Apple Watch app, exercise progress charts, body-weight logging, the plan catalog, rest timers, the warm-up and plate calculators, the stats dashboard for the last 3 months, monthly recap cards to share, import, and export. The free tier includes up to 4 routines and 7 custom exercises.

Pro unlocks unlimited routines and custom exercises, body measurements and progress photos, multiple profiles, progression suggestions on the logging screen, side-by-side workout comparison, and the all-time stats dashboard with a year-in-review card: $4.99/month, $29.99/year with a 7-day free trial, or $79.99 once — lifetime, no subscription. Bought Gym Log+ before? Pro is already yours.
